#1 – Design a beautiful app icon.
It makes sense: the icon is the first thing downloaders see when they’re browsing for apps. You want something clean and eye-catching and even recognizable if it relates to a well-known brand.

#9 – Do a killer job on the first line of your app’s description.
Any journalist or PR pro will tell you: don’t bury your lede! Your first sentence of your app description is the most important sentence, so make sure it reflects that. You should succinctly say what the app does and how it benefits the end user.
