Charles “Karel” Bouley of KGO Radio Chats Live with AppMakr

A couple of weeks ago, we were contacted by the one and only Karel (or as some know him, Charles Bouley) of KGO Radio in San Francisco about making an app. He came across an AppMakr mention in USA Today—possibly this one—and thought he’d take a crack at making an app for his many loyal listeners.

Karel hit us up with a question on importing audio and video streams, and before we knew it our CEO, Daniel Odio, was on the air in a live interview! Karel had lots of great questions and Daniel had a chance to talk shop about making apps, Apple vs. Android, and how AppMakr and its parent company, Socialize, bring the power of mobile development into everyone’s hands (pun intended).

Karel’s apps (for iPhone and Android) are almost ready, and we’ll update this post as soon as they’re live in the market. In the meantime , check out the interview for some great insight into what making your own app can do for you.

You can tune in straight from KGO’s website here.

And for more from Karel, download one (or all) of his many podcasts.
