Energized for Socialize: Collaboration Through the Mobile App

Apps, for the most part, tend to be a one-way medium of communication. But Socialize gives voice to an app’s community of users. John Greene, creator of Metropolia Business School’s app, wants that two-way communication.

“Socialize will provide Metropolia Business School with a great way to develop our community and have students provide real time feedback, take part and influence community progress,” he said. “Socialize is the missing part of the building block that takes our online content and community development and makes it fully interactive.”

Greene’s MetroBizSc app has become a great outreach tool, attracting students from around the globe to Metropolia Business School in Finland. With Socialize, these potential students can develop a connection to the school’s current students. He sees it as a collaborative effort: “We hope students and others will utilize the MetroBizSc app and our online content to make Metropolia Business School a community that we can all be proud of and have influence over.”
